As we all know by now, as of October 1st, ICD 10 (International Classification of Diseases version 10) is the official coding system for diagnostic and procedure codes in the U.S.. never mind that it has been the official coding system for pretty much the rest of the world for well over a decade.

Census Bureau Health Insurance Coverage Report and Video

The Census Bureau has just released a 40-page report: Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2014, indicating the number of uninsured Americans declined by 8.8 million in 2014, the first year the major insurance reforms of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) took effect, with 10.4 percent of the U.S population (33 million) uninsured in 2014, down from 13.3 percent in 2013.

How hot in video is your healthcare topic?

We thought we'd test out how hot a selected list of key healthcare topics were, with respect to how many video postings they generated on you tube.

In selecting the list, we avoided political terms, as they go off they charts with youtube postings, such as "obamacare." We also avoided more generic things, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Prescriptions, etc. Instead we selected terms representing more specific topics being addressed today.
