Columbus Community Hospital via YouTube: The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) recently released final regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), specific to wellness programs. When an employer is considering design and implementation of a wellness program, it is important to consider the potential impact as compliance may differ between these regulations. Wellness programs may need to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), ADA and state law.
